Kate Robinson Symphony of the Trees Symphony of the Trees is designed to raise awareness of, and celebrate, children within the autistic spectrum.

Children and staff from three Berkshire schools - Brookfields School, Castle School, and Prior's Court School were involved.

The child standing in front of the tree holds a bell and a singing bowl. The bell is an open 'giving' shape and the singing bowl is a 'receiving' shape. This is to signify the interplay of giving and receiving in all forms of communication.

The sculpture was sited in Victoria Park, Newbury in 2007. Sadly, the bronze figure was subsequently stolen. Discussions are underway to recast and re-site the sculpture in a new location.
